Badge tips

"Hole cards" are the ones dealt to you - not the community cards dealt to the table. The Rising Star badge is awarded for the four cards dealt to you, regardless of your poker hand.

Select a table on the Just For Fun tab if you don't want to gamble with real tokens and/or real people.

Be sure "Play with Jokers Wild" is unchecked in the table options for the All Night Omaha or Easy Street badges! Also play without jokers if you're trying for any of the Game Award badges.

King Kicker is the only badge that requires winning hands.

When playing for required hands against Pogobots, don't raise your bet before you have the required hand as that sometimes makes the bots fold. If they all fold, you won't finish the hand and get a crack at all possible cards.

Always buy the bonus card if you don't yet have the required hand.

For faster game win badges with friends or cooperative players, have all but one player fold and that player will win the hand. Take turns until everyone's got their badge.

For game win badges, refer to Game tips.

Game tips

ALWAYS read a game's How to Play, and also check for a Hints or Tips tab and/or Tutorial. They do help!

Your poker hand is made up of two of your dealt/hole cards plus three table/community cards. Your best current hand is highlighted with a green dot on the hand rankings table to the left of your cards. A blue dot is next to the best possible hand given the community cards. A yellow dot means you currently have the best possible hand (although another player could have a similar hand with higher value.)

You can play faster games on the real token tabs as they have no Pogobots. You can set a private table with just two people on the Low, High or Super Rollers tabs but you will be gambling with real tokens. Alternating wins will go quickly and you'll come out even on tokens, but you could lose a lot trying for required hands.

When playing to win against Pogobots, raise your bet to the maximum possible each turn. This sometimes makes the bots fold. Even if they don't all fold, you'll eliminate some of the competition.

Serious poker players usually play on the Low, High or Super Rollers tabs and bet with real tokens. Don't join these games unless you're confident in your poker abilities or don't care if you lose tokens!

More about 6th Street Omaha Poker

This game is often called Omaha Hold'em in poker circles and is similar to Texas Hold'em and No Limit Texas Hold'em. 6th Street refers to the optional sixth card.

The 6th Street Omaha Poker logo girl's name is Jess.

Since the number of professional poker players is relatively low compared to how many people enjoy the game and since I'm no expert, I won't say much here about how to win beyond badge- and Pogo-specific tips. There are countless resources online and off about how to play better poker.. take advantage of them!
