Badge tips

For easier "drop" badges, select Slow game speed, Team Game and Show Aimline, and check "No curse stones or pranks" in the table options.

For badges requiring you earn power-ups, watch for when one is ready to drop and if you have the same one, be sure to use it or you'll forfeit the dropped one.

For Snake Charmer or Original Prankster, be sure to select Team Game when starting or joining a game. You can play Team Games with humans or Pogobots.

Game tips

Like Phlinx, remember that your goal is to make as many stones drop as possible. Don't just match colors - match them in a way that will make stones below your matches fall.

Move back and forth among the three launching spots to get into tight spots. You can use right-click to jump between them.

Sometimes you can make a "teardrop" shape by clicking away high stones on each side of a group, then make the entire group fall.

Experiment with power-ups until you know what they do, then use them wisely. For instance, save the one that shifts the playing field up until your stones get near the bottom, use the missile when you have a long group on one side, and use the bomb when you have a weak spot in a group.

When playing with curses or pranks, remember that you can use the color power-up on curse stones.

Battle Phlinx is a competitive game similar to Phlinx that can be played individually or with teams of two.

This game can be played with Pogobots or with up to four humans.

Playing against Pogobots is relatively easy once you get the hang of the game (especially in team play), but winning against humans results in faster rank progress.

Battle Phlinx has some very serious, cutthroat players! Don't be alarmed or offended if someone targets you over & over making you lose quickly - simply start a new table and set it for no curses or pranks, and/or play with friends or Pogobots.

This game ranks up slowly unless you're very good at it, and takes dedication and mastery of the game to get the final badge.

If you experience freezing or flashing, clear your browser's cache & cookies and/or reboot your computer. Don't run any other programs than necessary when playing this game. Adding RAM or upgrading your graphics card can also help. Pogo's Help section has additional suggestions and system settings for smoother game performance.
