Crazy Cakes
Badge tips Rank progress is earned by delivering desserts. You don't need to win the game to earn rank progress. For Bakenator, concentrate on serving humans before other types of characters. You don't have to win the game to earn badge progress. Game tips ALWAYS read a game's How to Play, and also check for a Hints or Tips tab and/or Tutorial. They do help! You can serve a lot more desserts on Beginner level, so consider making it easy on yourself especially when going for badges requiring a specific number of desserts or customers be served. All you need to do here is deliver the dessert a customer orders in the right flavor. Sometimes a customer will accept any flavor (indicated by a gray dessert), or any type of dessert in a specific flavor. Different customer types have different requirements as well as different benefits. Knowing who's who will help increase your scores: ![]() Knowing baking times will also help increase your scores. Cookies take the least amount of time but also earn the least, while cakes take longest and earn the most. The full range of order types is: cookies, muffins, pies, brownies, and cakes. Flowers and trivets can help you be more efficient. You can give a flower to a customer to replace some of their lost patience, but it will take some time for a new flower to grow back. Trivets can be used to hold extra items that you bake in advance. In addition, there are eight power-ups available. If a customer leaves you one, it'll appear as a gift box. After picking up the customer's money, pick up the gift box to see which power-up it is, and move it to an opening in the counter. You can hold up to three power-ups at a time; if you have three and earn another, your payment will be increased by 50. The types of power-ups and their duration are: Coin purse collects payments for you - lasts 30 seconds Crystal ball tells you what your customers want - lasts 30 seconds Fireworks replaces some of each customer's patience - one time/instant Horn of pastries fills empty trivets - one time/instant Hourglass freezes every customer's patience - lasts 30 seconds Sundial lets you stay open longer - lasts until the end of the round Holding tray lets you carry 4 items instead of 2 - lasts until the end of the round Trivet provides an additional trivet - lasts until your next spin Jackpot spins are earned by meeting the goal in a round four times (each time you do, you'll earn one of the S-P-I-N letters). Baking the same flavor dessert in an oven will earn an oven combo bonus, which decreases required baking time. Each time you bake the same flavor (color) in an oven, you'll get a tally mark on the right side of that oven. Level 4 (four tally marks) cuts required baking time in half . If you put a different flavor (color) into an oven, its oven combo bonus will reset and start over. Double orders earn more. Also, if you deliver the same item or flavor in succession, you'll earn a Delivery Chain bonus. You can increase the Delivery Chain bonus up to five times. If you get overwhelmed with wrong items and run out of space, drop a dessert into the trash container. More about Crazy Cakes This game has five difficulty levels. Harder levels have more total and more simultaneous customers, more dessert flavors & types, and more customer types, but they also have more power-ups available. Changing difficulty levels will reset your S-P-I-N letters, so don't switch to an easier or harder level until after a spin. Meeting the expert goal in a round increases your token payout by 50%. If you often meet both the goal and the expert goal, you might want to up your difficulty level for higher payouts and more power-ups. Each rank provides a real recipe. You can click on your recipe book at any time to see the recipes you've unlocked. Click on a recipe name to read and/or print it. The 4th of July Weekend badge was only available during the dates shown. This game was released in May 2008, and is similar to Makeover Madness. |
