Badge tips

For Jumpin' Froggie, you need to jump a blue firefly to play the bonus game.

Beware of the 15 minute time limit for Frog Prince! You'll need to make a lot of jumps in succession a few times or get a good spin in a hurry for this one. Be sure to bet the maximum amount.

To earn the Dizzy Frog badge, you have to either make 8 jumps in succession on the maximum bet, or get a good spin.

The Firefly badge is one of the earliest Club Pogo badges and one of the most time-consuming. Pay your bills, hold your calls, and prepare for a mind-numbing marathon of many, many hours for this one. The Alligator badge isn't much better.

Each game goes quickly, but for Jumpin' Froggie or any of the "firefly" badges, you can change rooms or refresh (or hit F5) if you don't have a blue fly or if it isn't jump-able.

Note if you don't have Dizzy Frog and you make 7 jumps with another available, activate Dizzy Frog before making your 8th jump - provided you have a Personal challenge available and haven't put too many hours into one of the other long challenges, of course!

This game requires you to bet with real tokens - but the maximum bet is only 5, which you'll get back with only 3 jumps in succession.

More about Greenback Bayou

This game had no weekly challenges for all of 2004 and 2005. One can only assume that's because it's so unpopular, and/or because of the number of complaints about how much time it takes to earn the Firefly and Alligator badges.

There isn't much more to say about this game.. if you have small children see if you can get them to play it for you.
