Badge tips

Be aware of the five minute time limit for Hunting for Treasure! Your best bet here is to play on Easy.

For badges requiring tokens, you'll earn more by playing on harder difficulty levels and for completing puzzles quickly. Also, you'll earn bonus tokens for completing adventures. Be aware that the pause button does not pause the timer in this game!

Master Treasurer Hunter, Adventurer, and Thrill Seeker are special badges and separate from rank badges. Master Treasurer Hunter is earned by achieving 5,000 points - you earn 1 to 5 points for each completed puzzle, depending on difficulty level. Adventurer is for completing all categories. Thrill Seeker is earned for playing 50 random puzzles in Unlocked Puzzle mode.

Note for Master Treasure Hunter, you won't receive any points if you use the Hint button.

Game tips

ALWAYS read a game's How to Play, and also check for a Hints or Tips tab and/or Tutorial. They do help!

This game has five difficulty levels: Easy puzzles have 50 pieces; Normal have 80; Hard have 100; Elite have 80 and use rotation (right-click); Master have 100 and use rotation. Master is only available in Unlocked mode (puzzles you've previously completed).

On harder difficulty level, you'll earn more points and more tokens, and you need to complete fewer puzzles to complete adventures.

The Hint button will make a connection with the last piece you highlighted. You can use it five times per puzzle. Note you won't receive any points for using a hint.

If you put the border together first, you can use the magnet tool to drag all the pieces in the drawer to the right edge of the drawer. Then close the drawer almost all the way, so the pieces in it are just accessible. Then you can grab pieces from the left and work in the right side without having to keep opening & closing the drawer. Note it's not as easy or convenient to use this method as it is in Jigsaw Detective.

More about Jigsaw Treasure Hunter

Gameplay is virtually identical to Jigsaw Detective.

This game's how-to says "Putting together your puzzles is nothing short of exciting" - some players might argue that.
