KenoPop!
Badge tips Be aware of the 5 minute time limit for Keno Pop Star! Ranks are earned by correct guesses so although you can select fewer numbers, your odds for ranking purposes are greater if you select the maximum of 10 numbers. For Keen on Keno, just keep guessing: spins will come. For Power Pop, you collect power-ups as your correct guesses move you up the status bar on the right. You can use more than one at a time for this badge and you'll get credit for each. However, you only get badge credit for column, row or square power-ups - not for jackpot spin ($) or mystery (?). For badges requiring the Shared Number bonus, you need to land a ball in the number selected by someone in the room who's won the Shared Number bonus (or your own selection if you've picked the Shared Number). The Shared bonus comes up approximately every 15 minutes per room so these are very long badges for most players. Room hopping may make them go a bit faster if you get lucky with your timing. Game tips ALWAYS read a game's How to Play, and also check for a Hints or Tips tab and/or Tutorial. They do help! Be aware that you're betting with your own tokens in this game. You can select up to 10 numbers and up to 10 tokens per number. The amount you win depends on how many numbers you're playing and how much you bet. You can also use Auto Pick to have 10 numbers selected for you randomly. Yellow numbers indicate your selections, black are drawn numbers, and white are winners: drawn numbers that you selected. Colored balls increase token payouts, so you might want to up your bet when you see them in the chutes - if you feel lucky. Blue balls double your payout, red triples it, and yellow awards 10 times your payout. Several power-ups are available as correct guesses move you up the status bar on the right. They are jackpot spins; column, row or square bonus; and mystery bonus. Placing a column, row or square bonus will give you additional tokens if a ball lands in the respective column, row or square. Mystery bonus lets you select from three choices on a scratcher, and will give you extra tokens or a Shared Number bonus. When someone gets the Shared Number bonus, they select one number and anyone in the room who has a ball land on that number gets bonus tokens. You can collect column, row or square bonus chips (up to three each), and use up to three at the same time to increase your odds. There isn't much else to this game.. just keep picking and popping. More about KenoPop! KenoPop! - along with many state lotteries - is based on the casino staple in which you simply try to guess which numbers will be drawn from a field of 80. The light bulb icon above the room list toggles the game's flashing lights on or off. Per the how-to, if you get a large payout in this game - over 1,000 tokens - your payout will be rounded down to the nearest thousand tokens.. (that's kind of cheap of Pogo in my opinion - it's not like token payouts cost them anything!) Pogo has had a standard Keno game for some time, with the entire room using the same drawn numbers, but it's not featured on this site as it offers no badges. The Poppin' Tokens badge was only available during the dates shown. Thanks to Tracy for submitting additional KenoPop! tips! |
