Lottso!
Badge tips Be aware of the 30 minute time limit for Barrelling Down the Waterfall, the two hour time limit for Juggling Act, and the one day time limit for Seeing Stars! For Lucky Scratchers or Seeing Stars, fill your Lottso! card as soon as you can. Ditto for badges requiring Charity card activations, fill and scratch Charity cards as soon as you can. For badges requiring Super Lottso cards, don't scratch full cards on one side or the other until they're all full, then scratch all at once and you'll get a Super Lottso card. Place your balls on it before your cards on the other side. You can have two Super Lottso cards at the same time, one on each side. It's possible (but difficult) to fill and scratch both in one game. Play in Competitive rooms for Super Lottso card badges as you can't hang on to Team cards once they're filled. For badges requiring spins, you can jump around to empty rooms and play just the last round or two to get "free" spins quickly. You can do the same for badges requiring tokens but spins tend to be low in this game. For more tokens or for ranking up, refer to Game tips. Game tips ALWAYS read a game's How to Play, and also check for a Hints or Tips tab and/or Tutorial. They do help! Click to watch the Lottso! tutorial. Place all possible balls before scratching any cards. You can always scratch them in the next turn, but once missed balls are gone, they're gone. Drag and drop wild star balls where you want them and do the same for Free spots to ensure the placement you want. Don't use wild stars or Free spots until you've placed all exact-match balls. 5-spot cards tend to have higher scratch values than 4-spot cards, and 3-spot cards have the least value. Aces Up and Pop Fu cards have the highest possible values. Always try to fill & scratch the multiplier cards for good points. Highlighted cards in rounds 6, 7 & 8 pay double their scratch value, and highlighted cards in rounds 9 & 10 pay triple. Pay attention to what round you're in! For instance, don't start a Super Lottso card in the second half of the game as you likely won't be able to fill it. If you get a Fire card early in the game and can fill the cards below it, don't scratch them. When the Fire card falls you'll get a Super Lottso card unless it's a late round. If you can't fill the cards below the Fire card, concentrate on filling cards on the other side instead. Super Lottso cards can contribute a lot of points towards tokens & high score spins, but you won't do as well as regular cards if you don't get good scratch amounts on them. Team cards are the only difference between Team and Competitive rooms. Often there are fewer people playing in Competitive rooms and the fewer you play with, the better your chances of getting high Lottso! card payouts and high score spins. Playing in a room alone guarantees you a spin and also lets you wait to fill the Lottso! card when it's at a high value. Conversely, you can get a lot of points in a full Team room by filling a lot of Team cards, which have a maximum value of 500 points. Concentrating on Team cards with friend(s) or cooperative player(s) can rack up a lot of points quickly. You can also make an agreement with friend(s) or cooperative player(s) to let Lottso! cards ride until later rounds in order to maximize their value. More about Lottso! You can rank up in this game without ever being high scorer or earning a spin.. just keep placing balls on cards. If you're the current charity case - indicated by a gold pot on the leaderboard - and you scratch Charity cards, you'll get the full amount (both portions). You'll also score double charity if you're alone in a room. Often the chimes indicating a Lottso! card has gone up in value will keep ringing thru round(s). This is not only annoying, but if you turn the game's sound off you can't hear the "No More Matches" tone. Pogo is aware of this problem but they don't seem inclined to fix it. This game's layout, pace, leaderboard and rank progress announcements are similar to Dice City Roller. This is one of only a few games that have had additional ranks added, and the only game that has 100 ranks. Game Award badges for the newer ranks (above 50) have a different design than the originals: they don't have the license plate-type frame. This game ranks up slowly after the first few ranks. There's a bit of a respite to earn the badges for ranks 60, 70 & 80, but requirements pick up again for the final two badges. |
