Panda Pai Gow Poker
Badge tips Be aware of the 5 minute time limit for Power Panda! For faster Bonus Bet badges, wager 1, set both hands as low as possible and bet Lose. Break up pairs, straights, etc. and try not to include an ace or face card in your 2-hand. You won't make much game progress this way, but the little panda will go up the stairs pretty fast. If you can't set two low hands for Bonus Bet badges, split cards into a good and bad hand and bet Push (example: if you are dealt 4 of a kind, split them into two pairs). If you can set two great hands (example: a 5-card straight plus a pair of aces), raise your bet and select Win, and you'll make game progress as well if both hands win. The dealer will typically win one hand and lose the other regardless of your cards when you're playing to win, so betting Push for each hand is a slower but effective way to win the Bonus Bet. For game win badges, refer to Game tips. Game tips ALWAYS read a game's How to Play, and also check for a Hints or Tips tab and/or Tutorial. They do help! Panda dealers will often win several hands with cards like a 5-card straight plus a pair, and then when you're dealt a straight, the dealer will have a flush. Most hands will Push but it is possible to win both hands fairly often. You must win both hands to make game progress, and your 5-card hand must always be higher value than your 2-card hand. Whenever possible, set your 2-card hand with your highest pair, or with an ace and your highest next available card. You can use the Hint button, but the dealer tends to beat even good hands often so you can't rely on the hints. Likewise, two bad hands will occasionally beat the dealer's cards. Don't be tempted to go for a killer 5-card hand if it leaves you with a lousy 2-card hand. Granted, you'll likely win the Bonus Bet by betting Push, but that doesn't help your rank progress. If you're dealt four of a kind, break them up into two pairs. You'll still win the Fortune Bonus tokens even if you don't set your hand with the qualifying cards (example: if you're dealt three aces and you put one in your 2-card hand, you'll still win the 30-token three of a kind Fortune Bonus). If one of your hands matches the dealer's, it will show "Copy" and the other hand will determine whether you win or lose. If both hands match the dealer, it's a push. Using the joker is tricky in this game. It will usually be treated as an ace but it can be used to complete a straight or flush. Jokers can only be used to make 3 or 4 of a kind for aces. More about Panda Pai Gow Poker This game does not hold your place, so be sure to stack up enough pandas for a spin before leaving. This game ranks up fast, especially in the early ranks, and it's relatively easy to finish and get the final badge. |
