PoppaZoppa
Badge tips To get the Super Chain badge, you need to have a single unbroken chain of jumps in the round, and either a clump of adjacent buildings at the end or enough pieces with chains on them to jump to the remaining buildings. It isn't easy to get but it's very possible, given some luck. The Stomp 'n Chomp badge takes less than 10 minutes if you select a room on the Competitive tab, or play in a room by yourself on the Team Play tab. Hit every space on the board and you'll have it in four 90-second rounds. For faster "create chains" badges, count your jumps and break your chain as soon as you reach the required length for your badge. If you're lucky (and good), you can make three chains of 10 per board for Stop a Zoppa, and two chains of 12 or 15 per board for Leapin' Lizards or Momma Zoppa's Badge. For "collect eggs" badges, you'll get your badge count tally after the third round in each game. Refer to Game tips for game win badges and more help with "create chains". Game tips ALWAYS read a game's How to Play, and also check for a Hints or Tips tab and/or Tutorial. They do help! Click to watch the PoppaZoppa tutorial. Anyone can complete rounds and rank up in this game: simply jump to any lighted building and clear the board before the timer runs out. For higher scores, jump to a lighted piece that's adjacent to the one you're on and also adjacent to the color that's coming next. For highest scores, don't use x2 and x3 multiplier pieces early in a chain. The longer your chain when you jump to them, the more points will be multiplied. Buildings with chains on them can be jumped to & from anywhere on the board without breaking a chain, but try not to use them until necessary.. you'll need them when you're out of jumps. The reactor building is wild and can be stomped from any color anywhere without breaking a chain, but try not to use it until you have no chain pieces left. When you land on the reactor it becomes whatever color is in the "Now" spot. Five reactor pieces are randomly hidden on each board. Landing on all five will activate the reactor, making it shake. Every time you find a reactor piece on the Competitive tab (or when anyone in the room finds a piece on the Team Play tab), a status gauge shows how many of the five have been found. Jumping on the activated reactor will destroy all adjacent buildings. This is usually useful but it can eliminate paths you might need later, so avoid using it until you have to. In a Team Play room, if you get stuck but don't want to break your chain, wait a few seconds and see if other players in the room activate the reactor.. but watch the timer! More about PoppaZoppa The "You've won the Super Chain badge" notice pops up every time you stomp all 36 buildings in a single chain, but your badge page won't indicate that you've won it more than once or how many times. Pogo Help responses say that's because it's a Game Award and not a Challenge - even though repeatable Game Awards in other games do show how many times they've been won. The splash screen before you enter a game shows the pagoda-type buildings as light blue. Inside the game, they're dark green. If you're playing for rank rather than tokens and enter a room with less than 60 seconds or so on the clock, wait for the next round to begin since clearing partial boards won't contribute to rank progress. This game ranks up relatively fast early on but slows down midway. It takes a lot of time & dedication to earn the final badge. This game was popular with auto-player cheat programs for a long time. It was easy to tell who was using them: they didn't show up on the in-game leaderboard but their number of games played "this session" went up each game. But Pogo didn't seem to take any action against these cheaters.. the same player names sat in rooms day after day, moving up the ranks. Coincidentally (or not?) this game's jackpot was at the maximum $4,999 for months during that time. The problem seems to have been cleared up now, and someone finally won the jackpot. |
