The Poppit! Show
Badge tips The Poppit Show badge is awarded just for trying the game - even a free trial. You can earn the first two or three rank badges and mini sets by playing the free trial version. You'll need to purchase the game (currently $19.95) to earn the other badges & items. Games must be won online to earn the Game Award badges - see Game tips. Game tips ALWAYS read a game's How to Play, and also check for a Hints or Tips tab and/or Tutorial. They do help! A game is considered won when all the prizes have been released, and considered lost when prizes remain but no more matches can be made. You'll get bonus tokens if you leave five or fewer balloons. In general, work from the bottom and pop horizontal matches rather than vertical, since you can always pop away vertical matches later. Save power-ups until you need them. When leaving a single color balloon in a column, make sure you have one or more balloons of the same color in an adjacent column. You can use Undo all the way back to the beginning of a game. Using Undo and making a change or two often makes the different between a winning or losing game. More about The Poppit! Show The Poppit! Show has television show themes and is one of several download/for purchase games (along with Tri-Peaks Deluxe, Lottso! Deluxe and Mahjong Garden Deluxe) that include chat, mini items as Game Awards, and in which non-Club Pogo members can earn mini items and rank badges. Non-members' rank progress is converted to Game Award badges if they join Club Pogo, but they can earn and wear Poppit! Show badges inside the game. New ranks, five new rank badges, and presumably new Game award mini sets were added to this game in June 2007. New mini sets will (hopefully) be posted before long. You automatically receive both male & female versions when you earn the special mini items in this game. They appear in your mini closet and can be worn at any time or mix & matched like any other mini items. This game sported a Halloween theme in October 2007 with new items, graphics, and a skeleton costume for its host, Spike the cactus. In full screen mode, you can hit ALT plus TAB to return to your desktop. You can change from full screen to in-window play by clicking Menu and then Options. If you experience lagging when playing this game, try deselecting video acceleration in the game options. Alternately you can try reducing or disabling your system's video acceleration options. In Windows XP look in Settings>Control Panel>Display>Settings>Advanced>Troubleshoot. Gameplay is identical to Poppit! with the addition of new power-ups and the ability to share them with other players. Normally PogoTips.com doesn't include any download/for purchase games, but The Poppit! Show is here because it offers badges and mini items (several of which can be earned without buying the game). Thanks to sov6plus2 for the mini sets & Halloween screenshot, and to BA at Badge Addicts for sending additional Poppit Show tips! |
