Badge tips

For Bump 'n Shuffle or Fun 31, go for the 10 point squares when possible as well as the Bonus Round marker (worth 5 points) and the large table puck. Also, the moving targets are worth 2 points every time you hit them.

For Zip-Zag Zone or Bump-o-rama, be sure you or your opponent get the Bonus Round marker every round - it takes five to reach the Bonus Round.

For game win badges, refer to Game tips.

Game tips

ALWAYS read a game's How to Play, and also check for a Hints or Tips tab and/or Tutorial. They do help!

It's easier to gauge how hard to hit your puck by noting how far the guideline extends into the bottom of the gameplay area when shooting, rather than using the power meter.

You can usually win games against Pogobots, especially on the Social or Beginner tabs, particularly if you set them to Passive in the table options. Note they'll occasionally become aggressive even when set to be passive.

Whoever wins a round gets an extra 10 points, so it's worthwhile to win rounds! Sometimes knocking your opponent out of a high point spot is a surer way of getting ahead than aiming for a high point spot yourself.

Think of the "teleport" trap as if the "in" and "out" squares were next to each other. You'll come out at the same angle and at the same speed as you went in.

Try to pass over glue squares if you have a good chance of landing on a 10 point square so your puck will stay in it.

If you have a "repulsor" square next to a 10 point square, aim for side of the "repulsor" closest to the 10. If you gauge it right, it will shove you gently right into the 10.

More about Shuffle Bump

There isn't always a lot of difference in wackiness settings in the table options.

Pogobots have an uncanny way of getting the random spinner squares to land on 10.. unlike human players.

Green walls are fixed and you can bounce off them. Pink walls will disappear after being hit once. White walls raise & lower - you can bounce off them if you time it right.

The flames trap is very elaborate graphics-wise and can sometimes drain your system RAM after a few burnouts. If this happens, reboot your computer.

The square with arrows circling around in it swaps the players' scores.

Game points are tripled to determine how many tokens are won, not including the Bonus Round. Bonus Round tokens do not contribute to rank progress.

This game ranks up relatively fast early on but slows down midway. Click on your rank icon puck to see how many points are needed to the next rank.

Shuffle Bump is based on the classic "big table" game of shuffleboard.
