Badge tips

Since there are 20 questions per day (or 40 if you use the UK method below), you can't earn Piece of the Pie in one day unless you "save up" puzzles before the badge is available, or use random puzzles.

For 2008 Thanksgiving, you must use random quizzes, which don't count towards rank progress.

Trivia Wizard and Trivia Warrior are separate from rank progress.

For Trivia Wizard, you need to answer 450 questions quickly - before wrong answers are removed from the choices.

You earn one rank per completed pie (week), at least in the early ranks.

For faster ranking, you can also play this game by signing out of Pogo and re-entering via the Pogo UK portal (or vice versa). The UK version has some British-based questions, but it also has a separate calendar so you can earn two pies a week instead of one. Note this doesn't seem to help towards earning the Trivia Warrior badge. Also, there's no guarantee this glitch will continue to work.

Game tips

ALWAYS read a game's How to Play, and also check for a Hints or Tips tab and/or Tutorial. They do help!

You earn a wedge for earning 1100 points within a day's set of 20 questions. Earning six wedges within a week's group of questions earns a pie.

Every day has a new set of questions. You can select days other than the current day by clicking Calendar (Similar to Word Search Daily). You can also select Random, but random question sets don't award wedges, rank progress, tokens, bonuses, or jackpot spins.

If you answer a question correctly within 5 seconds, you'll 100 points. If you take longer, you'll earn fewer points but a first and then a second wrong answer will be removed from the multiple choice answer options.

The 10th and 20th questions in each set are double value, so you can earn up to 400 points out of the 1100 needed per day's set by answering these two questions correctly and quickly.

If you fail to earn 1100 points, you can do the day's set of questions over again. You'll earn fewer tokens on a second attempt, but if you pay attention to the correct answers the first time through, you can get all or most correct on a re-try.

Sometimes there are subtle clues in the way a question is phrased. For instance, there's one about an automobile invention that calls it a "bright idea" - the answer is headlights.

More about Trivial Pursuit Daily 20

This game offers some high bonus token awards! Bonuses include: 1000 tokens for getting all answers correct; 1500 for completing an "episode" (day's set of questions) on the day they premiere; 3000 tokens for completing the current week (six wedges for a pie) before Sunday; and 5000 tokens for completing the bonus 7th set of questions within a week.

This game is based on the popular card & board game of the same name, but it has more categories than classic Trivial Pursuit.

This game was introduced in September 2008.

Some sets of questions have a loose theme (Ivy League schools, automobiles, etc.) but most are just random topics.

Unlike most Pogo games, game chat is off when you enter a room. You must click the red Show Chat button above the room list to see or participate in chat.
