Badge tips

For badges requiring Wild tiles, you need to make words long enough to cover the butterfly in the letter tray.

For badges requiring words of a certain length, concentrate on spelling the length words you need rather than shorter words.

For badges requiring tokens, you'll earn more for making longer words and for using green tiles.

For game win badges, refer to Game tips.

Game tips

ALWAYS read a game's How to Play, and also check for a Hints or Tips tab and/or Tutorial. They do help!

You earn a Wild tile by spelling a word long enough to reach the butterfly. It's good to save one or two til later in the game. You can only hold three wild tiles at a time.

You can hit New Tiles once per game to get new letters. If you save it til you have 3, 4 or 5 tiles left, chances are good that New Tiles will give you letters that will form words (without leftovers) for a win.

Spelling a seven letter word earns a green tile in the letter pile, which is worth extra points when used.

This game had a test mode where a series of keystrokes would run people through the ranks very quickly that has since been discontinued. If you see players who got all WordJong rank badges on the same day, chances are that's how they did it.
