 Badge tips Be aware of the 10 minute time limit for Alphabet Soup! For Word Searcher Seeks Badge, be sure to select Medium difficulty level! For Backwards, you must find words that are spelled right to left. Be sure to select Random Puzzles for The Search Is On! Note these puzzles won't count towards Game Award state badges. For The Search is On or Searching for Words, work on Easy difficulty for fewer words per puzzle. For Search for Serenity, click through the calendar and look for puzzle descriptions like "Starts with A" or "(various items) A-D" if you're caught up or aren't interested in rank progress. Harder difficulty levels have longer word lists. If you don't have any A words in your list, hit New Game. You can also hit New Game after finding all A words: they'll count towards this badge even if you don't finish the game. For Finders Keepers, Gift Words have a missing letter and are shown in blue in the words list. Hit New Game until you have a Gift word in the list. Changing difficulty levels will make Gift words come up more often. You can hit Random Puzzle anytime, but those won't count towards Game award badges. You can do any daily puzzle to earn Game award badges, but you can only do each puzzle once to count toward badges. Puzzles are only up for six months so if you're trying to catch up with all posted puzzles to earn state badges, start with the earliest ones. Game tips ALWAYS read a game's How to Play, and also check for a Hints or Tips tab and/or Tutorial. They do help! If you get stuck and can't find a word, look for its starting letter and then double-click it to highlight all instances of that letter. Look around each in all directions. Jackpot spins are earned by using highlighted letters before time runs out. More about Daily Word Search This game is an upgrade from Pogo's previous Word Search puzzles. The only differences are the addition of tokens, badges & spins, and the puzzles themselves are much smaller. You can make up and submit your own word lists to appear in future puzzles. The submission form is on the submission guidelines page. Jigsaw Detective is the only other Pogo game with a new Game award every month, and Trivial Pursuit Daily 20 is the only other game with a new puzzle every day.
